| October 11, 2003: El Paso, Texas — Man crushed in accident at East Side building site Tammy Fonce-Olivas El Paso Times A 37-year-old man died Wednesday morning while attempting to unload a Bobcat front-end loader from a trailer hitched to a dump truck at an East Side construction site, sheriff's officials said. The accident, which occurred at 7:30 a.m. and was reported to authorities at about 8 a.m., was at 13352 Colina Corona in a subdivision northwest of the intersection of Horizon Boulevard and Interstate 10, sheriff's spokesman Rick Glancey said. The victim, whose name was withheld pending notification of family, was "sandwiched between the rear end of the dump truck and the hitch area of the trailer," Glancey said. The incident is under investigation. Glancey said the dump truck belongs to Villalobos Landscaping in Anthony, N.M. Authorities did not say whether the victim worked for the landscaping company.
